From 340132e520ad8a7a0f10d7ed36d6270bee06af7e Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: ScottW514 Date: Tue, 18 Aug 2026 16:05:31 -0400 Subject: [PATCH] Say plainly at the top that there is no release yet The repo is public and the install path is fully written up, so a reader who finds it can follow INSTALL.md end to end without ever learning that the release it depends on does not exist. The banner sits directly under the title in both documents: no images are published, nothing here is installable, and anything found elsewhere claiming to be a ForgeFIRM image did not come from this project. Documentation only - no behavior change, so no acceptance-catalog consequence. --- INSTALL.md | 10 ++++++++++ README.md | 10 ++++++++++ 2 files changed, 20 insertions(+) diff --git a/INSTALL.md b/INSTALL.md index 853c4e2..6343ba4 100644 --- a/INSTALL.md +++ b/INSTALL.md @@ -1,5 +1,15 @@ # Installing OpenGlow/ForgeFIRM +> # ⚠️ IN DEVELOPMENT — NOT YET RELEASED +> +> **ForgeFIRM has no public release yet.** No images are published, nothing here +> is installable, and there is no supported way to put this on a machine.
