vh feef8330ca ops(svos): U13 phase B — nh3-svos on v0.0.9 (schema 12), kernel app origin, seat-host and high-seat origins, bridge env on nh3-dev
Prime approved svos-dev's U13 pre-edit ask (2026-10-10 1639).
- B1: release afab123 on nh3-svos (kernel 0.0.9, migration 11->12) after a
  vzdump and an offline svos.db copy; app-terminal and app-postoffice held on
  b588510 by drop-ins until the edit.
- B2: --app-listen 127.0.0.1:8410 (drop-in) fronted by Caddy as
  svos-kernel.phasefinal.com on the LAN, allowlisted to nh3-dev; the path list
  adds /auth/kernel-key, which every connector client needs. DNS rewrite on
  the three internal AdGuards.
- B3/B4: svos-seathost (-> :8404) and svos-highseat (-> :8773) on nh3-dev's
  fleet Caddy, allowlisted to nh3-svos; /opt/svos apps env on nh3-dev with
  svos-postoffice[push] (althing-core 3.7.0 from althing 7a2a1c1) and
  svos-terminal. The fleet Caddyfile is now tracked in configs/.

# SVOS front door on nh3-svos (eshpfi configs/svos-front/), 2026-10-05. Prime: mesh-only, svos.phasefinal.com.
# - Listens on the tailnet address (100.64.0.9:443) AND, since 2026-10-08 (Prime: "serve it on the LAN too"), on the
# LAN address (10.100.50.43:443), so non-mesh internal clients work; the internal AdGuards answer 10.100.50.43, the
# headscale MagicDNS records still answer 100.64.0.9. No internet listener and no :80 redirect server.
# - Cert: Let's Encrypt via Cloudflare DNS-01 with a phasefinal.com-only token (env CF_API_TOKEN, /etc/caddy/env).
# - Identity: HTTP Basic auth (Prime 2026-10-05: "Basic auth is fine, saved in browser is fine"; mesh-only because we
# don't host externally). One account, `Vuong` (Prime is how SVOS addresses him). argon2id hash in
# /etc/caddy/svos-basic-auth.accounts (root:caddy 0640, NOT in git); plaintext vaulted nh3-svos/basic-auth-vuong.
# The WhoIs/forward_auth gate that preceded this was retired the same day (every mesh node is login `pfi`).
# - Client-supplied identity/forwarding headers are deleted BEFORE auth. After auth, Tailscale-User-Login is set to
# the authenticated user ({http.auth.user.id}) and Authorization is deleted: the kernel's human path (INV-U1-06)
# refuses any request that carries an Authorization header, and the app has no business seeing the password.
# reverse_proxy sets X-Forwarded-Proto=https and X-Forwarded-For itself; Host passes through; Origin untouched.
# - App side (svos-dev): kernel 127.0.0.1:8400 (/api/* with the prefix stripped, /api/health is the kernel's),
# connector 127.0.0.1:8403 (/health, /verbs/ping|pins|pin|unpin, /openapi.json), static UI /opt/svos/current/static.

# Hosting bounds (svos-dev 2026-10-05, svoperatingsystem web/README.md Hosting contract): request headers within 5 s,
# the whole request body within 15 s. NO write/response deadline: /api/stream (SSE) must stay open. Measured on a

# Voice (U12, app-voice on 127.0.0.1:8402; Prime 2026-10-08 "voice on"). BEFORE basic_auth on purpose: the browser
# calls /voice/* with `Authorization: Bearer <lease secret>` (web/src/lib/voice.ts), minted by a signed kernel open
# that itself goes through /api behind Basic auth. Basic auth here would reject the bearer, and the kernel's
# Authorization strip below would drop it. The lease IS the auth; the app refuses /voice without it. The /voice
# prefix is preserved upstream, Authorization passes untouched, no buffering (streamed audio), cancellation

# app-terminal's own origin (svos-dev 2026-10-07, U8 + U10c "a pane needs its own origin"). The interface embeds this
# page in a cross-origin iframe; the browser derives its URL from the registry's base_url
# (instance.toml: base_url = "https://svos-terminal.phasefinal.com"), so the kernel's signed calls (/health, /verbs/*)
# also arrive here, from the box itself, and pass to the connector on 127.0.0.1:8404.
# - NO Basic auth and no identity header: Chromium cancels Basic prompts for cross-origin frames and subresources, so a
# gate here kills the pane. The lease is the page's auth (GET / without one is a waiting page by ruling A105;
# /terminal/session|stream|close refuse without the bearer); /verbs/* and /health refuse without the kernel's
# Ed25519 signature. As defence in depth, /verbs/* and /health are refused unless they come from the box itself.
# - The app sets Content-Security-Policy: frame-ancestors https://svos.phasefinal.com (its frame_ancestors config);
# it passes through unmodified. /terminal/stream is a long-lived ndjson stream: no buffering (flush_interval -1)
# and no write/idle deadline (none is set anywhere in this file). Same 1 MiB body cap.
# - Mesh-only like the main site: headscale MagicDNS extra record -> 100.64.0.9; nh3-svos resolves it via /etc/hosts.

# The kernel's app origin (U13 B2, 2026-10-10, Prime-approved; svoperatingsystem U9a and docs/operations/u13-svos-edit.md
# "Before the edit" 1). Apps that run OFF this box reach the kernel here: from the U13 edit, app-terminal,
# app-postoffice (the bridge) and app-high-seat, all on nh3-dev. LAN only, because nh3-dev is not on the mesh; the
# internal AdGuards answer svos-kernel.phasefinal.com -> 10.100.50.43 and no MagicDNS record exists.
# - Upstream is the kernel's SECOND listener, `serve --app-listen 127.0.0.1:8410` (configs/svos-kernel/20-app-listen.conf):
# a request there is never a human and loopback trust never applies, so every call authenticates with its own bearer.
# NO Basic auth, and Authorization passes through untouched.
# - Source allowlisted to nh3-dev (10.100.10.50); anything else gets 403 from Caddy.
# - Paths: svos-dev's app surface (/auth/enroll, /auth/proofs, /registry/*, /verbs/*, /seats/enroll) plus
# /auth/kernel-key, which every svos_connector client fetches to trust the kernel's signatures (client.kernel_key; it
# is also the joint runbook's B2 check: refused by the KERNEL with 401 without a credential). Anything else 404.
# - Client identity/forwarding headers are deleted as on the other sites; the same 1 MiB body cap; nothing streams.
