2026-04-05T05:57:00+00:00 This note outlines CNC tool setup, emphasizing critical parameters like diameter, negative Z values, and cutter count, followed by calibration involving cycle start/feed stop to verify Z height and adjust Z offset if the tool doesn't make contact.
Fryer Tool Setting
  1. Go to tools page and set up tools.  Diameter and negative Z values are important.  Set up number of cutters as well.
  2. Go to tool calibration--- hit cycle start and then feed stop.  Verify that Z to go is reasonable.
  3. Allow tool to touch-- if it does not touch, go to Z offset and increase Z length silghtly.
